We as staff would like to get your input on how the email and PM messages that welcome new members. While efficient and to the point some of us feel that it needs a more “human” touch. We want it to be as informative as possible but still friendly and welcoming. Seeing as it’s you the members that get it when you join we ask that you share any insight you have to its wording.

We are going to do things a little differently this year. We will have a ROTM and a POTM. That way people who dont have many mods on their car but they do take BEAUTIFUL pictures can submit!

Every Member who wins will have their own page on the 2013 SoulHamsters Calender!!!

So the 1st month is ROTM!!!!!

It is now time to get the Featured Ride rolling. So I would like to get things started and open up the entries for the January 2012 Soul Hamsters Featured Ride of the month. When posting your submission please include the following.

* The year and trim package of the Soul.
* A list of modifications you have done to the car, if any.
* High Quality – 5MP minimum pictures of the front, back, Engine and interior of the Soul. Also please do not edit or photoshop your photos unless you wish to block out your plate.

The January 2012 submissions will be open until January 15th 2012. After the finalists have been decided a poll will be posted for you the community to decide on our January 2012 Featured Ride.

Cant believe i won to be honest with ya….but thanks to everyone that voted for me, at least i know im going in the right direction with my soul. My idea was to show ppl, even the dealership, that there are several ways to modify and make the soul your own. Hope more ppl see the possibilites and start modifying their own.

Okay, I’ve got a good chance to get a bunch of new site business/invite cards, at a really good price. I need a new design though!

I’d like to use pretty much the same back we had last time, but I’d like to see what folks come up with.

The deadline for this is the 26th, as I need to get my order in by the 31st to take advantage of this pricing.

REQUIREMENTS.

1. The Site Logo. The TEXT site logo thta says www.soulhamsters.com Must be displayed prominently on the front (and back if a 2 sided design).

2. The site tag line “Get In The Cage!” needs to be shown at least on one side of the card.

3. Facebook/twitter/google+ icons should be on the back if you are doing a 2 sided design.

4. Needs to have an invitation on the back like the old cards.

I’d prefer a 2 sided design myself, and something with color!

So this is it, the first site raffle.

Here’s how it’s going to work.

1. Anyone can enter, as long as they are not banned from the site (all one of you), or you already have a CAI. We are going to verify if you have one or not if you win, so just don’t waste the time.

2. You need to make a Paypal Payment to REDZMAN@gmail.com for the amount of tickets you want.

Tickets are $5 (US Dollars Only Please) each, and each member can buy a maximum of 5.

When your payment is confirmed, you will be added to the list below. If you decide to buy more tickets later, you will have your name in the appropriate spots, not all bunched together.

3. In your payment notes, you need to note your site username. If you don’t give me your username, you won’t get credit for those tickets until you have notified me who you are.

4. The raffle will run until a total of $220 has been brought in. This is the price I paid for the CAI from a vendor, plus shipping. Shipping is INCLUDED to the US. I’m sorry, but if this has to go out to Canada or overseas, the winner will be responsible for anything over the $220 amount.

When the $220 amount (44 tickets total!) is reached, we will start a 2 week count down. This extra money will go to the site funds, in order to buy the next item to raffle off.

5. A number between 1 and 44 (or whatever the final tally of tickets is) will chosen using an online random number generator. The ticket picked will be crossed by the list and that person wins the CAI.

The online random number generator used will be the one at http://www.random.org/

Now, I don’t expect this will happen, but let me put this warning out there. Your raffle tickets are a donation, and not refundable. If anyone decides to file a paypal claim because they didn’t win, you will be banned from the site, and the claim information will be posted here. Don’t screw your fellow members, as there will be plenty of these going on from here on out now that the formatting is down.
