I started this site to focus on maintenance and modification of the Kia Soul, and to have an open ‘forum’ for all manufacturers to present their products, and more so, develop new ones. This is a NOT FOR PROFIT website, and not meant to compete with others, just to complement them.

We are a community dedicated to exactly that, the community.  We are all about fun, learning, and modifying our Souls to make them more unique, just like us.

About The Site Owner – Jeremy “RED ZMAN” Zimmerman

I’m a Kia and Hyundai Fanatic, having started driving them in the early 90′s. I’ve had several models now, from my first, the 93 Excel, two Tiburons, a 1997 and 2001 (I still own this one), and a 2004 Kia Sorento that we still drive every day. I managed to pick up a 2010 Kia Soul Sport, after having fallen in love with the interior when the first pictures were finally released.

Personally, I’m an outgoing guy. I love to work with my hands, and do this hobby because I have some physical issues that keep me from enjoying my old hobbies. I’m a 80% disabled US Army veteran, having served 11 years. My first 3 years I was in the Reserves as a 37F, Psychological Operations Specialist. My last 8 years I was active duty as a 82C, Field Artillery Surveyor. I did 2 trips to Korea, 2 months and 18 months respectively. I fell in love with the culture, the food, and the people, but the cars, that was before I went there. Yes, I’m “disabled”, but still mostly functional. No, I didn’t get shot in combat, blown up in Iraq, or sniped in Afghanistan. Some of us get hurt just doing the things we are told to do every day, without questioning.

I graduated from the University of New Mexico, with a 3.41 GPA as a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Minor in History.  I work for the Bureau of Land Management as a Geographer and GIS Specialist.  I am a former Administrator of www.rdtiburon.com, and have been working for years on R&D for Korean vehicles in the US.

My wife, son, and the rest of my great family put up with my Korean obsessions, and back me up whenever I need it. I enjoy, above all, having fun and laughing.
