There are a lot of thanks you to give out in this special occasion, its hard to really start somewhere so i’ll just go with it.

We gotta start with the top, Thank you Mr. Red Zman! If it was not for the investment into the site we would not be here today. We thank you for the hard work and dedication you still provided to the site each and every day.

To Deeper Shade of Soul, The idea man and the a second master mind behind the idea of a place where hamsters every where could have a better experience, and of course the contributor to the name “soulhamsters” a Thank You to you for everything you did from the very beginning.

To Vizions our IT guy, and the guy behind more of the dirty work, and networking, the initial guy that set the thing up! A thank you to him!

To all the Admins in General, Rodville, Chevy2guy, Avocado Ninja, Enderz,Roadwrench, cbzdel for there dedication and commitment to the site. Its really appreciated, because after all we don’t get paid, and we do this for the sheer love of the site and our cars.

Of Course nothing would be where we are today without everyone, the 1,000+ Members. With out you we would not stand where we stand today. And you deserve the biggest THANK YOU, for returning, contributing and adding fire to this fuel! A Special thank you goes out to all of you!! THANK YOU!

Of course now we steer ahead to the next year, and as we grow lets stay true to our values, and our ideals that made us part from the other site and never lose track of our goals.

I write this post with mixed emotions. Deeper Shade of Soul has been there since the beginning of this site, he helped inspire me, inspire the direction of this site, and even the name we type into the browser bar to get here.

His very SOUL is in the soul of this site, and he will always be here as a respected friend, and an adviser to the staff. I expect to get PM’s from him weekly telling me what he thinks about my latest idea, promotion, or modification.

I can’t say it better than he did in his PM to me, so I’ll post that.

I am going to step down from my role here. Right now I do not have the time to carry out duties of an admin. I have just enough to steer us socially and keep up with posts. It is unfair to you and Rod that I am not carrying my weight.
I still love this place and will likely be around on a daily basis.

So, amazingly enough, I watched Judge Dredd a week or two ago. In Judge Dredd, there is a tradition where someone stepping down from the supreme position of power is given his last request. I thought I’d go a similar direction here and ask him for who he’d want for his replacement.

In most cases, I’d wait for months for someone to really show they deserved the position, that they were the right one, the way we found Rodville (still a great admin and model member).

So Deeper gave me his recommendation, of which I had emailed Rodville my recommendation at the EXACT same time.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our newest addition to our site Admin Staff.

Avocado Ninja.

Our entire staff is great, they all have things they do that are great, and specialties. Ninja has stepped up, given more than just about anyone here, and is always willing to take on more. She has the writing skills, the talent, the OBVIOUSLY REQUIRED GOOD LOOKS, a great sense of humor, level head, and willpower to kick ass when needed.

Thank you staff for all you do, thank you Deeper for your unrelenting service and friendship, and thank you Ninja for the promise of a bright future.
