Diy Contest! Winner Gets A Set Of Prd Spark Plug Wires!Okay, I want to inspire and push folks to get some DIY’s done, and done RIGHT.

This contest will run for one month, and the winner will get a set of PRD Spark Plug Wires of their choice between…

1. Red wires with black colorwrap.
2. Black wires with red colorwrap.

If the winner already has a set of wires from PRD or elsewhere and doesn’t want this prize, I will allow them to pick an alternate prize between the KJB Shifter Bushing Set (both types of bushings), or the engine cover.

RULES!

1. You must do a substantial DIY. No 2 picture DIY’s on how to start your car please.

2. We must have at least 5 different members in the contest in order for a prize to be awarded.

3. Your DIY must be THOROUGH. It must contain….
a. A tool list.
b. A parts list.
c. Pictures of each step. Post the pictures, not links. Thumbnails preferred.
d. Written instructions and helpful tips of each step.

4. For bonus points, your DIY should include…
a. A video where helpful, or of the end result.
b. An estimated time to get the DIY done.
c. Estimated difficulty on a 1-10 scale.

5. Currently posted DIY’s are NOT eligible unless there is a really big change or a much better version done.

21 June the winner will be picked, by one day vote from the staff in the staff section. When the vote is over, we will move the voting thread to the open for everyone to see and validate.

It sounds difficult, but it really isn’t folks. An hour or so of hard work on a DIY will help dozens of otherwise timid members do something to their cars.

So, get out there, get some ideas together, and get a good DIY going!

Oh, and for reference, you can check out any of most of my DIY’s. Hate to brag, but I do them pretty good.

These are made from beefy 1.5″ diameter steel tubing and are adjustable so you can pre-load your strut towers for maximum effectiveness and are powder coated to look good for years to come. These will really tighten up the front end of your Soul. This is probably the best suspension mod per dollar that is out there. All braces are black powder coated and you have a choice of either a RED or SILVER “SSD” logo to put on it. These fit all Soul’s, 1.6 or 2.0, with or without cruise control.
