So this is it, the first site raffle.

Here’s how it’s going to work.

1. Anyone can enter, as long as they are not banned from the site (all one of you), or you already have a CAI. We are going to verify if you have one or not if you win, so just don’t waste the time.

2. You need to make a Paypal Payment to REDZMAN@gmail.com for the amount of tickets you want.

Tickets are $5 (US Dollars Only Please) each, and each member can buy a maximum of 5.

When your payment is confirmed, you will be added to the list below. If you decide to buy more tickets later, you will have your name in the appropriate spots, not all bunched together.

3. In your payment notes, you need to note your site username. If you don’t give me your username, you won’t get credit for those tickets until you have notified me who you are.

4. The raffle will run until a total of $220 has been brought in. This is the price I paid for the CAI from a vendor, plus shipping. Shipping is INCLUDED to the US. I’m sorry, but if this has to go out to Canada or overseas, the winner will be responsible for anything over the $220 amount.

When the $220 amount (44 tickets total!) is reached, we will start a 2 week count down. This extra money will go to the site funds, in order to buy the next item to raffle off.

5. A number between 1 and 44 (or whatever the final tally of tickets is) will chosen using an online random number generator. The ticket picked will be crossed by the list and that person wins the CAI.

The online random number generator used will be the one at http://www.random.org/

Now, I don’t expect this will happen, but let me put this warning out there. Your raffle tickets are a donation, and not refundable. If anyone decides to file a paypal claim because they didn’t win, you will be banned from the site, and the claim information will be posted here. Don’t screw your fellow members, as there will be plenty of these going on from here on out now that the formatting is down.

Ok here are the nominees for the voting. How I can make this the most fair is everyone one votes for their 12 favorites and the one with the highest number of votes being January, second highest votes February, etc.. In the event of a tie vote a PM will be sent to all members of the tie and the first one to reply with their desired month will get it.

You can set “By Content Type”, then below that “By Time Period”.

I started modding the Soul even before delivery… I had parts at home before the car, and been doing small things now and then since to improve it, make it mine. I think I proved you can do something on a tight budget and some free time.

It is now time to get the Featured Ride rolling. So I would like to get things started and open up the entries for the December 2011 Soul Hamsters Featured Ride of the month. Now you may submit your car for the contest. When posting your submission please include the following.

* The year and trim package of the Soul.
* A list of modifications you have done to the car, if any.
* High Quality – 5MP minimum pictures of the front, back, Engine and interior of the Soul. Also please do not edit or photoshop your photos unless you wish to block out your plate.

Really simple stuff here. Don’t worry if you win there are more questions involved.

The 2011 nominations will be open until November 28. After the finalists have been decided a poll will be posted for you the community to decide on our December 2011 Featured Ride.

***If we get more than 10 nominations only 10 will be chosen to go to public vote. If yours is not chosen for the vote, don’t worry there is always next month.***

As soon as we know more info, we’ll give it to you folks.

The site should be down for a short period of time, but it will take Rodville up to a few days to get all of the modifications installed. We wanted to wait and do this until everything worked that we currently use.

You guys and girls are going to LOVE this.
